Online Sign Up is Back (Hopefully)
A new page has been added to the Menu system to access online tournament signup forms. Signup forms have been created for the Par 3 Tournament (scheduled for March 21st and 22nd) and for the President’s Cup (slated for March, 28th, March 29th, and April 4th). Note that tournament signups will be closed at 4:00pm on the Wednesday prior to the tournament.
Hopefully we'll get this feature up and running without any problems.
Match Play Reminder
Next weekend is our first scheduled Match Play weekend (March 14th and 15th)
of the season. Match Play competitors are encouraged to take
advantage of it since the "first round" of matches should be finalized
by then. If in doubt, there are guidelines on how to arrange matches in the "Match Play Etiquette and Rules" here.
Of the 47 matches that are scheduled to be played this season…only one has been.

ANGC Handicaps Updated
Scores from the CEO Cup and Abqaiq Open have been entered into the Handicap System software
and handicaps were recalculated on 07 March 2013. Updated handicaps
will be posted in the clubhouse and are available on this site...just
check the menu.
ANGC Website Design
We're working diligently to update the website. However, we've noticed that there are some compatibility issues relating to different browsers...what looks great in Firefox has issues in Internet Explorer. One Firefox issue beyond our control concerns online pdf viewing. Firefox's add-in sometimes doesn't display pdf files correctly (you should see a warning). In those instances, you'll have to download the pdf and view through Acrobat Reader.
If you notice any problems on the site or have any suggestions, drop me an email: AbqaiqGolfing@gmail.com or timothy.perz@aramco.com.
Thank you.

15th Annual Abqaiq Open
The 15th
Annual Abqaiq Open was held on March 1st, 2013. This year’s Open hosted the largest playing
field to date…with 103 competitors from across Saudi Arabia and Bahrain participating. Weather was perfect for golf and the competition
began at 8:00am with a shotgun start.
Always a
competitive event, this year's Abqaiq Open ended in a tie between Mr. Nasser
Saad Al-Mahsini and Mr. Isa Ibrahim Mohammed Saad, with both players scoring
one over par 73. On Hole 4 of the sudden death playoff, Mr. Isa
Ibrahim Mohammed Saad birdied to claim the title of the 2013 Abqaiq Open
Champion. Congratulations to both
players for a superb performance.
Complete results and additional pictures are available on our website
(www.abqaiqgolf.com).
